Job Title: Front Desk Clerk/Receptionist (Part-Time)

Immediate Supervisor: Owner/Manager – Operations

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating, prioritizing and implementing daily and recurring administrative and clerical support for Owner/Manager of Spin4Life Studios, Inc. This includes independently assessing workload to assure all projects receive appropriate action. Coordinate projects as directed by supervisor, such as meeting planning, backup, and more.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Owner/Manager:

  • Management of calendars.
  • Management of telecommunications to include backup phone coverage, messaging, transferring, and inquiry follow-up as well as transcription of voice mail messages upon request.
  • Answers correspondence as directed by Owner/Manager.
  • Prepares, proofreads, photocopies and distributes correspondence.
  • Prepares reports, meeting minutes, presentations and more. Proofreads photocopies and distributes all such materials.
  • Establishes, organizes, files and maintains files.
  • Creates recording keeping and tracking processes as needed.
  • Coordinates meetings and teleconferences to include scheduling, facility set-up, catering, agenda development, presentation materials, note taking and more.
  • Aids in processing check requisitions, purchase orders, expense vouchers and more.
  • Aids in tracking expenses and rectifying charges.
  • Ability to prepare monthly budget documents.
  • Investigates discrepancies and proactively seeking resolution.
  • Executes and tracks all invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vouchers, etc.
  • Assists in drafting and monitoring consultant and vendor agreements.
  • Distributes incoming mail to team members on a daily basis
  • Orders and maintains inventory of all office supplies, utilizing on-line ordering system and order placement processes.
  • Works with internal resources to maintain functionality of all office equipment including computers, printer.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of all office equipment, including but not limited to keeping service manuals in office and maintaining copies of all service contracts.
  • Tracking new customers and products that enter the Program and generating reports on a monthly basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma; College coursework or degree preferred.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including high level of proficiency in Windows / MS Office Suite (including Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to stay organized, to work under pressure and hit deadlines
  • Knowledge of business administration, office procedures and telephone etiquette
  • Demonstrated skills in English and effective business communications
  • Skilled in filing and record keeping
  • Exception oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to operate office equipment including copiers, faxes, printers, telephones, PCs, calculators and more
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with staff, customers and the public
  • Ability to read, understand and follow procedures and manuals as well as perform basic arithmetic and accounting functions
  • Ability to type 45 WPM
  • Ability to work over 20 hours/week as needed
  • Ability to move 20 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and to be flexibile in scheduling diverse tasks
  • Ability to work overtime

Job Title: Spin Instructor

Immediate Supervisor: Owner/Manager – Operations

As a Team Spin Instructor, you will join a team of fitness professionals who are responsible for creating and delivering cutting-edge group spin classes. The facility is located in upscale Uptown Dallas. We offer state of the art audio/visual equipment to include plasma televisions as well as the latest NXT spinner bikes. Instructors will be responsible for connecting with the customers, inspiring them, and motivating each participant at every stage in their fitness journey!

As a member of the Spin4Life Team, you will provide the ultimate group fitness experience in every class. Your goal is to “work the room” as the members come in to find their spots. Learn the names of new faces and greet “regulars” as you assess the group and make all feel welcome. You will be expected to introduce yourself to your class, review the class objectives and explain how members can measure their intensity to achieve best results. Deliver class with high-energy music and enthusiasm ensuring safety measures are in place at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of group fitness class instruction experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • CPR/AED Certification required within 2 months of hire.
  • Primary Group Fitness Certification (minimum of one):· ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NETA, AEA, and IFTA. Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Environment and interact with staff, customers and the public
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
